Who We Are
In 2018, during a time of fear and division, a small group of young people in Delano decided not to wait for permission. We came together to honor the legacy of the giants whose shoulders we stand on and to write the next chapter of the Central Valley's story ourselves.
Today we are first-generation college students, LGBTQ+ youth, DACA recipients, and homegrown leaders. Our work is about motivating young people as voters, leaders, healers, and advocates — and taking our rightful place on the frontlines of democracy.
Our Programs
Every young person has talents they can use to create change — in the fields, in our schools, and in the halls of power. Our programs give youth the training, funding, and community to grow those talents into lasting power.
Civic Engagement
We register young voters, organize on high school and college campuses, and turn out our community for the issues that shape our lives.
Membership & Leadership Development
From our Youth Organizing Institute to paid internships, we train young people of color to become the next generation of fearless, compassionate organizers.
Healing justice
Healing is part of the work. We create space for wellness, cultural practice, and collective care so our young people and leaders can sustain their power for the long haul.
